Lonestar Electric

Lonestar Electric has been keeping the lights on in Tyler, Longview, and Kilgore since 2001. What started as Kent Rowe's one-man operation, built on his master electrician license, is now a three-generation family business. Kent still holds the license and answers the phone, while his son Chris and two grandsons handle the day-to-day work.

The crew handles the full range of residential and commercial electrical work, from simple repairs and ceiling fan installs to full home rewires, panel upgrades, and commercial lighting and code compliance. They're also a certified installer for Briggs & Stratton standby generators. That's an installation certification, not a factory-authorized dealership, so factory dealer warranties don't apply, though every job still carries Lonestar's own one-year workmanship warranty.

Every job is licensed and insured under TEML #20626 and TECL #23161, and the crew runs emergency calls when something can't wait until morning. Pricing is upfront before any work starts, with no surprise line items at the end.
